Prepare for Listening Comprehension (This Wed, 12th Oct)
In preparation for this Wednesday’s Listening Comprehension, our
children are doing 2 listening comprehension practices in class. They have
received the first practice today. I would like to have your help to sign and allow your child to bring it back tomorrow. They will receive the second practice tomorrow and I would like to have your help to go through it too.
You may like to go through the mistakes with your child to reinforce in them the points to look out for. Many of our children have the common mistakes as follows. A general reminder has been given in the class. It would be helpful for your child if you could go through the following with him/her today again to reinforce them.
Dictation
- Not listening attentively to the words read
- Missing word
- Missing punctuation marks
- Missing "s" for plural words
