UNSW English, Maths and Science Competitions 2016
Our school will be holding UNSW  English, Maths and Science Competitions for our pupils this year. It is optional for pupils to participate. A letter has been distributed to our children today. If your child is keen to participate, do fill in the reply slip and allow your child to bring it together with the entry fee on Next Tuesday or Wednesday. There will be a teacher who will collect these slips and the fee during recess time on these 2 days.

1) Do the English Test Practice Paper (Pgs 2-6) today and bring it back tomorrow. This will be a practice for your test on Next Monday. We will go through the answers and you will bring it back for revision tomorrow. You may refer to your RWJ to help you.
2) Revise Spelling Lists 1-5: I will give you spelling on 5 words tomorrow.

Wk 6 - Commemorating Total Defence Day (Next Monday, 15th Feb)

Dear Parents,


Our children have received a letter today regarding the following.

Commemorating Total Defence Day (Next Monday, 15th Feb)
On Next Monday, our school will be commemorating Total Defence Day. Your child will receive food and drink ration coupons to exchange for a plain bun and a cup of mineral water during recess time. We like to encourage all children to take part actively in this food rationing exercise so as to allow them to go through this experience of possible food shortage in times of crisis. I like to seek your help to discourage your child from bringing food or drinks to school on this day.
*The canteen will still sell food and drinks before and after school for pupils who need breakfast or lunch.

Our children have received a letter on Parent-Teacher Conference which will be held on Saturday (5th March) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. We like to invite you to attend this 10-minute conference which we will be discussing about your child's progress.
