Wk 10 - Important Notifications for This Week

Dear Parents,


Please note the following.

Bring Recyclable Bag and Rags (Tuesday, 24th May)
We will be conducting Use Your Hands Campaign in our classroom tomorrow. Our children will pack their belongings under the desk and their lockers and help clean the classroom.
Pupils are to bring the following tomorrow:
1) Recyclable Bag: To contain belongings which they may wish to keep at home
2) Rags (1 to 2 pieces): To clean our classroom

Bring Swimming Attire (Wednesday, 25th May)
As the swimming lesson on 9th May was cancelled due to ongoing exams during the period, it has been postponed to This Wednesday. Our children will have to bring their swimming attire to school.

Parent-Child-Teacher Conference, PCTC (Friday, 27th May)
Our PCTC Session will be held in 3INT classroom for our class on This Friday. For this session, our child will lead the discussion to
1) Reflect on their work habits 
2) Share a piece of work done

I would need your help to arrive on time and keep our conversation within the 10-min duration. If you would like to check the booking time, you may log in to your child's McOnline account.
*Note: Only if you have not managed to book a session, you may like to come between 2.30p.m. to 3.30p.m.

Meeting with Mother Tongue Language Teachers
If you have been informed by your child's Mother Tongue Language Teacher to meet you, do proceed to our school library at the scheduled time.

Wk 9 - Sign Exam Papers (Submit Tomorrow)

Dear Parents,


Sign Exam Papers (Submit Tomorrow)
Our children will receive the following today. I would like to have your help to go through, sign and allow your child to bring it back tomorrow. Our children have received the papers and marks for all the components (Writing, Paper 2, Listening Comprehension and Oral) totaling to 100 marks.
- EL Exam Papers (in a plastic folder)

Sports Day Carnival (This Friday, 20 May)
We will be having Sports Day Carnival at Serangoon Stadium on this Friday. Pupils will have to report to school at 7.20a.m. and be dismissed from school at 12.45p.m. as usual. There will be no lessons on the day.

Our children will only need to bring the following:
1) Small bag
2) Water bottle
*Light snacks will be provided.

Attire for the Day: PE attire with school shoes/sports shoes

Our children have been told to bring their purple English files back tomorrow for submission.

Cancellation of English Remedial (16th May)
A gentle note that next week's English remedial (16th May) will be cancelled. English remedial lessons will resume after the June Holidays. Our children will be informed tomorrow.

Our children have taken a look at the following papers in class today.
1) Listening Comprehension (____/14 marks)
2) Paper 2 (____/50 marks)

We will continue to review the following next week.
1) Oral (____/16 marks)
2) Writing (____/20 marks)

The children have been advised to record their marks for these 4 components so as to help them tally their total score after receiving all the papers/marks.
