Wk 1 - Things to Be Submitted Tomorrow

Dear Parents and Pupils,


Please note the following notifications for today: 

5 Forms (To be Submitted Tomorrow, 5th January)
The children have received the following forms today. Do fill them out and allow your child to bring them back tomorrow. 
1) Introductory Letter
2) Data Protection and Opt-out Box
3) GEP Identification Exercise 2016 Acknowledgement Slips
4) Student Medical Record 
5) Pupils' Particulars Forms (Stapled together with Student Medical Record)

*The Class Timetable also has been given out to the children today and we will follow this timetable with effect from Thursday, 7th January. Please guide your child to follow this timetable when packing his/her school bag everyday. 

Things To Bring Tomorrow (5th January)
        Pupils have been reminded to bring and submit the following to me. I would like to seek your help in going through the following list of items and have your child bring them to school tomorrow if he/she has not submitted any of the items.
- English File (Purple Ring File) 
- MLEA Writing Book (Red Jotter Book)
- RWJ Book (Blue Jotter Book)
Doodle and Jot Writing Book(Purple Jotter Book)
- Spelling Book (1 Single-lined book)  
- My FTGP Journal 3
- Social Studies Activity Book
- 1 set of colour pencils
- A working thermometer 
- A lock for assigned locker (Optional - only if your child wishes to use the assigned locker)
- Portfolio 
- Report Book (if your child has not returned it to school last year)

Things to Bring on a Daily Basis
1) Pupil’s Diary: Our children will be expected to note their daily homework and important notices. Do check the Pupil’s Diary daily.
2) English storybook
3) File: For keeping worksheets and forms.
4) Foolscap Papers: At least a few foolscap papers in the homework file for use in school. 
5) Pencil case with Complete set of Stationery (and a green pen for corrections)
6) 1 Whiteboard marker and duster 

Assigned Lockers
The children have each been given a locker which they may like to use to keep the following items. 
1) Subject Textbooks
2) Art and Craft materials
3) Music items
4) Foolscap Paper Writing Pad
(Note: It is not compulsory to keep the above items in the locker. I would like to seek your appeal in helping to go through with your child on the items he/she may wish to keep in the locker. Hope that this may help pupils lighten the weight of their school bags.)
