Dear Parents and Pupils,
As a preparation for the Writing Paper on 25th April, our children will be receiving a couple of writing practices in these few weeks. They have received one writing today.
Losing Something Valuable Writing (Submit on Next Monday)
The children have been taught to choose 2 out of the 3 following items and use them in this writing. They have been told to put in good effort to apply what they have learnt in class and good writing strategies that they know of in their writing. These efforts will help them improve in writing.
1) Similes
(For e.g. as ________ as _________)
2) Direct Speeches
(For e.g. "Found it!" said Kelly.)
3) Action Words of Movement and Looking Around for Things
(For e.g. wiggle, jiggle, hunt, ferret, track, spy, jab, prod, pry, snoop, inspect, etc.)
